IT raids at shooting location, superstar Vijay questioned

The Income Tax department has on Wednesday been conducting raids at the properties of popular Kollywood financier Anbuchezian in Chennai. The officials also suddenly raided the shooting spot of Thalapathy Vijay's 'Master', which has been shot at the Neyveli Lignite Corporation estate in Neyveli.

Why the raids were conducted is still unknown but some reports have stated that they didn't last long.

In a piece of related news, ANI has reported that Vijay was questioned by IT officials in Neyveli. This is said to be in connection with alleged tax evasion by AGS Cinemas, which produced last year's blockbuster, 'Bigil' ('Whistle' in Telugu).
