Nivin Pauly, who had been filming his upcoming movie Padavettu, helmed by debutante director Liju Krishna, has wrapped up the entire shoot. As you know, the movie's director Liju Krishna was arrested by police under alleged rape charges based on a complaint by a crew member. Now, despite the reports and police charges on the director, the team had wrapped up the entire shoot a day ago. In a video that has surfaced online, Sunny Wayne is seen holding a mike in the shooting set and announces the pack-up of ‘Padavettu’.

Recently the shooting of ‘Padavettu’, which was happening in Kannur, Kerala, was stopped temporarily as the director Liju Krishna was arrested by the police on the charges of an alleged rape filed by a Woman. She also mentioned that she had contributed to the film’s script, but the director never gave recognition. Following her complaint, Liju was arrested under Section 376 IPC. In the pack-up video, director Liju was not to be seen anywhere. Apart from Nivin Pauly, the upcoming political drama film has an ensemble of talented and promising cast that includes ‘Aruvi’ fame Aditi Balan and Manju Warrier playing the female leads along with Shammy Thilakan, Shine Tom Chacko, Indrans, and Vijayaraghavan in pivotal roles. 96 movie fame Govind Vasantha is the music composer. Further details on ‘Padavettu’ are expected to be announced soon by the makers.
