The one music director who is composing for father-son duo at once is Devi Sri Prasad. Yes, even as he is working on Chiranjeevi's 150th film, the rock star-type musician has been roped in for son Cherry's film with Sukumar. The choice is unsurprising, given the longtime association between the DSP-Suku duo. Interestingly, DSP is composing for two difficult genres this year: historical (Gautamiputra Satakarni) and sci-fi.
The ace director is out to try his hand at a genre which is one of the least explored genres in Indian cinema: it's sci-fi.
The Mega Power Star is reported to have liked the script months ago. Sukumar is currently busy evoluting the story into a full-on script.
Latest reports say that the film will be launched on August 22, marking the birthday of Megastar Chiranjeevi. This ambitious flick means a lot for the Mega hero for obvious reasons: he is venturing into a rare territory, although he is only doing a film with a commercial director known for his outstanding imaginative prowess and a high success rate.
