Actress Radhika Sarathkumar was one of the top actress in the 80s, and is now one of the leading actresses in television industry. Her Radaan media works had delivered a huge hit with the serial Chithi telecast in 1999.

Now it has been revealed that Radhika is ready with the sequel to Chithi, and while chithi was directed by CJ Baskar, chithi 2 will be directed by Sundar K Vijayan. The shooting of Chithi 2 is happening in Chennai and the promo is expected this Diwali.

Chithi 2 will not have Sivakumar, and Ponvannan, Bhanupriya's sister Nishanthi and Rupini have joined the cast, while Daniel Balaji returns to the serial. Besides this, Radhika is also busy with films like Pirandhal Parasakthi and Market Raja MBBS.
