Varun Tej's 'Ghani' has chosen April 8 as its new release date. Directed by Kiran Korrapati, the film stars the male lead in an intense role. Its music is by Thaman and its female lead role has been played by Saiee Manjrekar.

The news is that the pre-release event of 'Ghani', which is a boxing-based drama, will be held in Vizag on April 2. And Icon Star Allu Arjun will be gracing the event as the chief guest. His elder brother Allu Bobby is one of the producers of the movie.

Bunny will be there to support his cousin, whose second theatrical release this year will be 'F3', which will hit the screens on May 27.

Co-written by Abburi Ravi, 'Ghani' has stunts by Dhilip Subbarayan and Larnell Stovall. Also featuring Upendra, Sunil Shetty, Naveen Chandra, the actioner is co-produced by Sidhu Mudda. 'Ghani' is the costliest movie in Varun Tej's career.
