'SPYder', which underwent censor formalities on Monday, was certified U/A. Importantly, no cuts were suggested by the board members.  The run-time is 145 minutes.

The Sept 27 release is one of the most-awaited releases of the year.  There is considerable hype for the bi-lingual in Tamil, too.  Directed by AR Murugadoss, it comes with an inherent message.  "The importance of being human is conveyed (without being preachy) in the backdrop of a thrilling spy-crime drama," the director says.

SJ Suryah's characterization could be a high point.  Mahesh as a phone-intercepting intelligence officer is sophisticated and classy, as the Trailer suggests.  Rakul Preet is playing an immature-minded, but well-meaning, girl-next-door named Charlie.  Count big-time on Harris Jayaraj's BGM.

The climax is to be looked out for.  Over 2000 junior artistes and a fight sequence shot for 20-25 days under the aegis of Peter Hein has been filmed.  Made at a cost of Rs. 125 C, the film is Mahesh's biggest ever.
