It's official: Santhanam to eat 'Laddu' with Power Star

It was formally confirmed to the media on Monday that Santhanam is all set to turn a producer with a film titled 'Kanna Laddu Thinna Aasaiya', in which he will play the lead role along with 'Power Star' Dr Srinivasan.
The humour flick will be jointly produced by Santhanam's Hand Bat Films and veteran Ramanarayanan's Sri Thenandal Fims. With musical score by Thaman, the movie will be directed by Manikandan.
Vishaka will be the leading lady. Other important roles will be played by Sethu, VTV Ganesh, choreographer Sivasankar, 'Pattimandram' Raja and Mayilsamy. Kovai Sarala and Devadharshini are also there.
Shooting will commence shortly and will take place in and around the lush green locales of Karaikudi, Sivaganga and Devakottai. The project will be completed at the earliest, said a press statement.
