The controversy surrounding actor Dhanush and Five Star Creations has taken a fresh turn, with the production company issuing a second public statement following earlier allegations.

Previously, Five Star Creations accused Dhanush of not fulfilling his commitment to act in a film despite receiving an advance payment. This prompted a response from director and industry figure RK Selvamani. Now, the production house has released a new statement, doubling down on its stance and raising further questions.

In the statement, Five Star Creations said:

“Why should members of the Actors' Association turn to producers for loans when there are financial institutions for that purpose?

Have people forgotten that it was Mr. Kathiresan, a close friend of Dhanush, who initially pleaded with him to take up the project?

Isn't it common understanding that once an actor receives an advance, it’s only fair to fulfill that commitment?

The halt in Dhanush’s shoot was not solely due to Five Star Creations. If a proper inquiry is conducted, the truth will come out. We are not here to play politics.

The letter directed at us began respectfully but ended with what felt like a veiled threat.

It seems like there are attempts to use this one issue to bring unrelated Producers' Council matters into the spotlight and confuse the actual issue at hand.

The verdict we seek is not just for our company—but for all producers who have paid advances and are still waiting for justice.”

The statement underscores the production company's frustration and highlights its broader concern for fairness within the industry. As the issue continues to escalate, industry insiders and fans alike are watching closely to see how Dhanush and the associations involved will respond.
