It's Rajinikanth versus Arnold Schwarzenegger in ENTHIRAN 2

Everybody is aware that original choice of film maker Shankar for Rajinikanth starrer ENTHIRAN 2 (ROBOT 2 in Hindi, ROBO in Telugu), was Bollywood Mr. Perfectionist Aamir Khan but the actor declined the offer citing his busy commitments or was it his apprehension to stand opposite South Superstar Rajinikanth?

Nevertheless the loss of Aamir Khan is the gain of Hollywood superstar Arnold Schwarzenegger because Shanker has successful roped in the Hollywood veteran actor and eventually succeeded in giving the movie a true International look.

For loog Shanker was in hunt to cast a power packed actor who could stand opposite Rajinikanth and also has global popularity. With Arnold Schwarzenegger, Shanker has the right actor. He has won half the battle and added much anxiety and excitement to his movie.

For those who can still not digest the fact that an actor of the repute as Arnold Schwarzenegger will be doing a Tamil film than listen this".

Briefing media Shanker confirmed that the TERMINATOR star Arnold Schwarzenegger has given his consent for the sequel of ENTHIRAN and will be flying down for the film's first schedule in January, 2016."

He said, "I and Arnold are good friends and have spoken many times about movies and he had often expressed his desire to act in an Indian film."

"Recently Arnold was in India and had attended the audio launch of my film I' starring Vikram. It was during that time I discussed the plot of ENTHIRAN 2 with him and he was overwhelmed by the plot and gave his nod to act in the film," Shanker added.

He further informed, "Arnold will be here for 25 days first schedule. His dates will be finalized after Rajini sir completes his upcoming film KABALI."

Shanker is leaving no stone unturned to make ENTHIRAN 2 an International class cinema. The movie will be shot in 3D and he has plans to shoot motion capture sequences at a Hollywood studio under the guidance of renowned technicians.
