Jackpot is full of fun!
Tuesday, November 22, 2005 • Kannada Comments

That the film is all about comedy is what comes across even through the music of forthcoming film Jackpot. What makes Jackpot a great listening is the fact that the album has been put together with songs composed by a variety of new and young composers and music directors.

There is a lot to choose from and each one is fits in pleasantly, marking a path for a revolution in Kannada music.

The lyrics, especially Laila, Chigari Laila song by Chitra, Sakha Sakha and the title track Jackpot go with the flow of the entire theme of the film. The compositions too sound very young and trendy. Worthy of mention is guitar work by musician Allwyn Fernandes. Allwyn has also composed two songs and the outcome is music that is quite westernised and trendy.

Another song Ba O Preethi Ba composed by Krupakar brings in the romantic number, which again sounds in sync thanks to the lyrics that includes words from different languages.

Composer Hameed too fills in with his melodious track Sakha Sakha. The icing on the cake though is a remix version of the old Kannada number Onde Ondu Aseyu that's been composed along the tunes of the English number Mama Mia... here I go again. The remix has been put together aptly by Dharma.
