'Jagame Thandhiram', which will start streaming on Netflix from June 18, is directed by Karthik Subbaraj. The Dhanush-starrer will stream from 12:30 pm this Friday in 18 languages, including Telugu.

Ahead of its release, Box-Office tracker LM Kaushik has said that 'JT' has made Rs 73 Cr as part of its pre-release business deals. This has been made possible by the fact that Netflix shelled out Rs 55 Cr (for 18 languages) for the direct-to-streamer release. The film is hitting the OTT first.

Hindi language dubbing rights, including for YouTube and satellite, is pegged at Rs 7 Cr. Vijay TV is said to have bought the Tamil satellite rights for Rs 10 Cr.

Rs 1 Cr has been made from other sources, especially music rights.

Aishwarya Lekshmi, Kalaiyarasan, Joju George and others have played pivotal roles. Santhosh Narayanan's composition seems to be modish, while Shreyaas Krishna's cinematography looks promising in the trailer. Stunts are by Dinesh Subbarayan, while the choreography is by M Sherif and Baba Baskar.

The film is releasing amid high expectations.
