Actor Jai, who was last seen in debutant Pichumani's action comedy Jarugandi which was produced by actor Nithin Sathya, will have his next release in the form of the supernatural thriller flick Neeya 2, produced by Jumbo cinemas.

Directed by Suresh who had previously directed Eththan starring Vemal and Sanusha, Neeya 2, just like the 1979 flick Neeya deals with snakes and snake woman played by Varalaxmi Sarathkumar. The movie was earlier announced to release on May 10.

However, now the makers have announced that Neeya 2 has been pushed to May 24 release as per distributors request. May 10 is already flooded with releases like Ayogya and Kee and 100 releasing on May 9. Neeya 2 also stars Catherine Tresa and Raai Laxmi.
