Who is Venkat Prabhu waiting for 'Chennai 600028 2'?

The shooting of Venkat Prabhu's sequel to his 2007 sleeper hit Chennai 600028' is all but over with a few crucial patch work pending. The maverick director is awaiting for one of the lead heroes Jai's availability.

Jai who is busy with films like Balloon' and 'Enakku Vaaitha Adimaigal' is unable to allot dates, but is trying his best to finish his portions for these films and get back to the VP sets. Chennai 28 2'an Yuvan Shankar Raja musical has Siva, Jai,Vijayalakshmi, Premgi Amaran,Ajay Raaj, Nithin Sathya, Arvind Aakash and other members returning from the original cast. The film is produced by SPB Charan's Capital Film Works and Venkat Prabhu's Black Ticket Company.
