Jai steps into politics

After being part of romantic, emotional, action and period movies, Jai is now testing waters with a film with political content. It's 'Pugazh', directed by Manimaran.
In the film, Jai plays an underdog who fights against the system. Surabhi of 'Ivan Vera Madhiri' fame plays the protagonist's love interest, who supports him in his mission.
Most of the film was shot in Wallajapet and the talkie portions are almost over. The rest will be completed soon. This apart, Jai is also busy with 'Valiyavan' directed by Saravanan.
