Actor Jaideep Ahlawat, who is best known for his role as Inspector Hathiram Chaudhary in 'Paatal Lok' is all set to appear alongside Ayushmann Khurrana in the upcoming film 'An Action Hero'. In a promotional interview for the same, Jaideep opened up about his love for 'The Godfather' movies. Directed by Francis Ford Coppola and starring the likes of Marlon Brando, Al Pacino and James Caan, 'The Godfather' was released in 1972 and is often termed as one of the greatest movies of all time.

The film spawned two sequels in 1974 and 1990 and talking about the series, Jaideep told IANS, "When I watched The Godfather for the first time, I literally slept off but the people around me hyped it up as a cult film so much that I decided to watch the film from start to end."

The actor later developed a taste for the film and went on to watch it continuously for three months. Jaideep shared, "After watching the trilogy, I was so addicted to it that I started binge-watching it every single day for 3 months! If I am watching one part today, I will take a break tomorrow and then watch the following part the day after. It is indeed a mind-blowing film."

Directed by Anand L Rai, 'An Action Hero' is set to release theatrically on 2nd of December.
