Jaideep Ahlawat recalls playing Hathiram Chaudhary 

Its been a year since the phenomenal crime drama 'Paatal Lok' was released. The show was praised to its gripping narrative, complex characters, brilliant dialogues and of course, for the brilliant portrayal of Inspector Hathiram Chaudhary by actor Jaideep Ahlawat. This was the first mainstream lead role of Jaideep who has previously impressed the audience in films like 'Gangs Of Wasseypur', 'Commando' etc...

Recently, the actor recalled being prepared for the first day of shoot and feeling nervous yet confident. He shared a picture of himself from the set and wrote, "I still remember… This was the 1st day on the sets of Paatal Lok… Hathiram in front of mirror. In self doubt and confidence at the same time… sure and equally unsure how this journey is gonna be."

Jaideep further added, "Thanks to the entire Crew & Cast of #paatallok for this Unforgettable experience of my life and Thank you each & everyone of you for giving Soooooo much Love. I am honoured and humbled. love You All.”
