Jail time for parents who don't send their kids to school!

A cabinet minister from Uttar Pradesh strongly opined that parents who don’t send their children to school will be locked up in jail without food and water. 

Om Prakash Rajbhar, the minister for Backward Class Welfare and divyangjan (differently abled persons) Empowerment warned people in a party gathering that stern steps are necessary to ensure this .

The minister stood by what he said even after his statements went viral on social media questioning why some parents do not send their kids to school even when the government is providing all facilities for education.
