Jallikattu director's 'Churuli' to release on OTT

Critically acclaimed director Lijo Jose Pellissery's much-awaited movie, Churuli, has finally got a release date. The movie is gearing up for an OTT release on SonyLIV on November 19. Announcing the news SonyLIV tweeted, A few people who go in search of a man named Mayiladuparambil Joy, get trapped in a terrifying time loop in this sci-fi/horror tale of insanity, fear and 'aliens'?

Touted to be a science fiction thriller, the movie stars Chemban Vinod Jose, Vinay Forrt, Joju George and Jaffer Idukki in the lead roles. Churuli, which was shot in 19 days last year has been screened at various film festivals, including Tokyo International Film Festival and won several awards too. Coming from the Jallikattu director, the movie has set high hopes among the audiences.
