The Jallikattu Protestors who have formed a human chain at the edge of the sea have been refusing to evacuate the beach and also demanded that they will only speak to the CM or Raghava Lawrence.

Raghava Lawrence, who has been twice hospitalized due to an injured neck and high fever met the remaining protesters and held talks. He told them that though the protests were first made with the sole goal of bringing back jallikattu, some miscreants have infiltrated the multitude and are raising unnecessary issues at this time to satisfy their own agendas. He said that since the TN government has done the needful and so as the PM it is time for everyone to disburse.

The leaders of the protest spoke to media men and have announced that as soon as they received the ordinance and the law signed by the Governor, they will disburse temporarily. They also demanded that In two to three months the TN Bulls should be removed from the banned list of animals that should not be exhibited by the Central Government. As the law is on the verge of being passed in the assembly in a few hours, by today evening the Jallikattu protest is likely to come to an end.
