Jana Sena seeks applications from aspirants, caste irrelevant

Jana Sena has started accepting applications from aspirants to MLA and MP tickets. The process has been overseen by Nadendla Manohar. Since Saturday morning, more than 265 applications have been received by the party leadership. Their bio-data has been scrutinized.

As per a statement from the party, professional experts, educationists and women are showing great interest in seeking the party ticket. Their credentials will be duly vetted by the party before deciding whether they should be shortlisted.

Meanwhile, the party has also decided not to demand caste-related information from its applicants. This is a whiff of fresh air in our caste-ridden polity.
