‘Jananayagan’ Surpasses ‘Coolie’ in OTT Deal by Rs 1 Crore!

Recent reports suggest that the OTT rights for Vijay’s upcoming film ‘Jananayagan’ have been sold for ?1 crore more than ‘Coolie’, the much-anticipated film starring Superstar Rajinikanth.

A few days ago, it was revealed that Amazon Prime had acquired the streaming rights for ‘Coolie’, directed by Lokesh Kanagaraj, for a staggering ?120 crore. Now, sources claim that the same platform has secured ‘Jananayagan’ for ?121 crore.

If these figures are accurate, ‘Jananayagan’ will have outperformed ‘Coolie’ in terms of OTT business, marking a significant achievement for Vijay.

Additionally, while Amazon Prime has secured ‘Jananayagan’, reports indicate that the film will only be available for streaming after an eight-week theatrical run. An official announcement regarding this deal is expected soon.
