With the shoot of Thalapathy Vijay’s much-awaited final film Jananayagan now complete, post-production work is all set to begin.

In keeping with tradition, updates about Vijay’s films are usually released on his birthday, June 22. Reports now suggest that the teaser for Jananayagan is likely to be unveiled on that day, serving as a special treat for his fans.

Beyond the teaser, the makers have laid out a detailed release timeline: the first single is expected in August, followed by the second single in October. The grand trailer release is scheduled for New Year’s Day.

Slated for a Pongal 2026 release, Jananayagan carries extra significance as Vijay’s final acting project, raising immense anticipation among fans.

Directed by H. Vinoth and produced by KVN Productions, the film features Pooja Hegde opposite Vijay, with Bobby Deol as the antagonist. The ensemble cast includes Mamita Baiju, Priyamani, Gautham Menon, and Prakash Raj.

The film boasts a strong technical crew: Anirudh Ravichander handles the music, Sathyan Sooryan is the cinematographer, Anal Arasu directs the action, and Pradeep Raghav takes charge of editing. Art direction is by Selvakumar, costumes by Pallavi, and publicity design by Gopi Prasanna.
