'Janapada' complete

Dr.Baraguru Ramachandrappa's 'Janapada' starring Raghav and Radhika has completed shooting. Baraguru has penned the songs, dialogues and screenplay for the film. The different folk artistes such as Dollu Kunitha, Pooja Kunitha, Yakshagana, Thamate, Veeraghase took part in the song sequence resembling the rich folk art of Karnataka. The shooting has been completed in 37 days for Bagirathi Enterprises. Panju Poojari is the producer of the film.

Nagaraj Advani is the cameraman. Hamsalekha has scored the music. Suresh Urs is the editor for the film. Vatsala Mohan, Radha Ramachandra, M.S.Umesh , Karibasavaiah, HMT Nanda, Sampangi, Nandini, Yathiraj, Sharat Lohitashva are also in the cast.

Dr.Baraguru Ramachandrappa is feeling very happy because his 'Thaayi' a film based on Maxim Gorkhy's Russian Novel has bagged the best lyric and best socially relevant film award at the recently announced Karnataka state film awards for 2005-2006.
