Actress Madhumitha, remembered by people as Jangiri Madhumitha, known for her comic performances in movies like Oru Kal Oru Kannadi, and last seen in Thala Ajith's blockbuster Viswasam as Robo Shankar's pair, has got married to her cousin Moses Joel yesterday in Chennai.

Their marriage happens to be an arranged marriage, and the Mehendi function was held on Valentine's day, followed by the marriage yesterday. The actress revealed that after discussions between the families for long time, they had finally decided on the marriage before two months. Though Moses had converted to Christianity before long time, he respects Madhumita's beliefs, and had gifted a statue of Navadhaaniya Pillaiyaar, besides also gifting a romantic statue and a silver dollar and tea cup with romantic verses.

It has been said that though it was an arranged marriage, there were some conflicts between the two families, but Madhmitha - Moses Joel's marriage has ended an 18 years conflict, and the actress also revealed that her aim is to continue acting till the end, just like the legendary veteran actress Manorama, and entertain people with her comedy and acting.
