Javed Akhtar Shocked Over PM Narendra Modi's Biopic!

The official trailer of the biopic based on our Prime Minister Narendra Modi featuring Vivek Oberoi in the lead role was unveiled a few days back. And recently, there was a shocking announcement from one of the ace lyricists of Bollywood. Yes, you read it right! Lyricist Javed Akhtar took to his social media and made it clear that he is not at all involved in the movie in any kind.
Javed shared a picture of the credits of the film and tweeted, “Am shocked to find my name on the poster of this film. Have not written any songs for it!” In the pic, one can clearly see how the makers of the film have given him credit for writing a song along with other lyricists Prasoon Joshi, Sameer, Abhendra Kumar Upadhyay, Sardaraa,Parry G and Lavraj.

Directed by Omung Kumar, the film also features Boman Irani, Manoj Joshi, Zarina Wahab and Prashant Narayanan amongst others in the lead roles and will be releasing on April 5th worldwide.
