'Jawan' to join August race

'Jawan', starring Sai Dharam Tej and Mehreen of 'Krishnagaadi Veera Prema Gadha' fame, is done with the shoot of its talkie part. Come June, two of the fights and action sequences will be shot.
The plan is to join the August race.
Directed by writer-turned-director BVS Ravi, the movie presented by Dil Raju and produced by Krishna (better known in industry circles as NTR's manager).
The film drives home the message that, just as a soldier is indispensable for the country, so is a man like our hero for every home. Touted to be a family entertainer, it tells the story of a middle-class man who steers clear of the hardships his family faces.
Tamil actor Prasanna is the main antagonist. JP and Eeshwari Rao are seen in other key roles.
Music is by Thaman. Cinematography is by KV Guhan. Editing is by SR Sekhar. Art direction is by Brahma Kadali. Kalyan Varma Dandu, Sai Krishna and Vamshi Balapanuri have co-written the movie.
