Today the new office bearers of Nadigar Sangam, who constituted the Pandavar Ani before the Sangam elections met the Tamil Nadu Chief Minister J.Jayalalitha at the Fort St.George where the State Assembly is located.

Addressing the reporters after their meeting with the Top VIP of Tamil Nadu, veteran actor and Nadigar Sangam President Nasser said that the CM wanted the new administration to bring back the glory days of Nadigar Sangam when Nadigar Thilagam Sivaji Ganesan was the President and Major Sundararajan was the General Secretary.

"Honourable CM welcomed us with a warm smile and made us feel at ease. She inquired about the status of the Sangam. She heartily congratulated all of us for our victory. Even in the small time frame she recounted how she was associated with the Sangam. She said that the time when Sivaji Ganesan was the President and Major Sundararajan was the General Secretary was the golden era of the Sangam and she wanted us to restore that. The confidence she reposed on has brought a bigger responsibility for us. We are extremely happy about this. "

Nadigar Sangam's General Secretary Vishal seems to have requested the CM to grace the inauguration of new building to be built for Nadigar Sangam. The actress turned politician seems to have accepted the request with a smile and asked them to inform well-in-advance before the function.
