Debutant Arun Prabhu Purushothaman's 'Aruvi' has taken Kollywood by storm with the film receiving praise from leading names in the industry. But Jayam Ravi who is known for his socially relevant movies (think 'Peranmai) has gone a step further in showcasing his appreciation for the movie. 

The actor recently changed his social page profile pic with a poster of 'Aruvi'. The iconic poster has a gleeful Aditi Balan holding a gun in a flowery art backdrop with a Goddess touch as well. 

"Proud to be a part of 'Aruvi' movie. . . as an audience," Jayam Ravi stated. When 'word of mouth' and social media proliferation is helping such movies to reach the larger scale of audience, Jayam Ravi's gesture in supporting the film is commendable.

On the career front, Jayam Ravi's 'Tik Tik Tik' which is touted to be Asia's first space film is all set to hit the screens on January 26 for a Republic Day release.
