Actor Jayam Ravi, who is one of the most consistent actors of Kollywood was last seen on screen in the 2019 release Comali directed by debutant Pradeep Ranganathan and the movie became a superhit.

Jayam Ravi has completed his milestone 25th movie Bhoomi which is directed by Lakshman who had previously directed Jayam Ravi starrer movies namely Romeo Juliet and Bogan. While initially, Bhoomi planned a May 1 release, the plans have changed due to the pandemic.

The latest news making the rounds is that Bhoomi will premiere on Disney Plus Hotstar OTT platform and will become the first Tamil movie to premiere directly on Hotstar. An official release date announcement is expected soon. Bhoomi also stars Nidhhi Agerwal, Sathish, and Ronit Roy.
