'Iraivan' is the much-awaited film from the Thani Oruvan combo Jayam Ravi and Nayanthara. It is said to be an intense thriller directed by I Ahmed of 'Endrendrum Punnagai' and 'Manithan' fame. Today, Passion Studios officially announced that the movie will release on September 28 and unveiled the trailer.

Iraivan seems to be a cat and mouse game between a psychopath killer and a brutal cop. 'Smiley Killer' Brahma was introduced to us in the opening of the 2.5-minute-long video. Meanwhile, Jayam Ravi portrays the police official Arjun, who is willing to punish himself rather than letting the justice system do its job. Arjun is set out to hunt Brahma after he escapes from the police custody.

Bollywood actor Rahul Bose is deadly as the crazy psycho killer Brahma. Nayanthara plays Priya, Arjun's wife while Naren and Asish Vidyarthi are seen as cops. The star cast also includes Azhagam Perumal, Vijayalakshmi, Charlie, Bagavathi Perumal and others. The trailer is filled with raw and brutal visuals. Iraivan promises to be an eerie psycho thriller.

Yuvan Shankar Raja's background score is pulsating and Hari K Vednath's visuals are one of the best things in the trailer accompanied by JV Manikanda Balaji's arresting cuts. Don Ashok's stunts are very impressive. Fans are very excited to catch Iraivan on big screens.
