Jayam Ravi to star in an Akshay Kumar super hit remake

The 'Thani Oruvan' Jayam Ravi is awaiting the release of his next 'Tik Tik Tik' directed by Shakti Soundar Rajan touted as India's first space movie.  He is currently shooting for a new film 'Adanga Maru' directed by debutante Karthick Thangavel and is also gearing up to star in his 25th film directed by brother Mohan Raja.

Meanwhile the news has come that Jayam Ravi has signed the Tamil remake of Akshay Kumar's 'Baby' which dealt with an undercover team hunting down Pak terrorists.  Ahmed of 'Endrendrum Punnagai' and 'Manithan' fame will direct while Mathie is on board as cinematographer.  Official announcement on this one will be out soon.
