Jayam Ravi's 'Vanamagan'- Details of collections on First Day

Actor Jayam Ravi's 'Vanamagan' directed and produced by Vijay released on Friday for the long Ramzan festival weekend and the film has made good returns at the Tamil Nadu Box office despite the cancellation of special morning shows.

On its release day when the shows started only from noon, 'Vanamagan' has collected around Rs.2 crores which is a pretty good start. This includes Rs.21 lakhs from Chennai, Rs.39 lakhs from Chengalpet and Rs.24 lakhs from Coimbatore.

The film is expected to take a good opening in its first weekend as the next three days are holidays across the state. The reviews and word of mouth are also positive and this will enhance the film's Box office prospects.
