Jayaram tests positive for COVID-19

After actors Mammootty, Dulquer Salmaan, Anna Ben, Suresh Gopi, and the renowned director Priyadarshan, now the latest celebrity to have tested positive for COVID-19 is actor Jayaram. On Saturday, actor Jayaram took to his social media handle to announce that he had tested positive for COVID-19. As he shared the news, he also urged everyone who got in contact with him to get isolated and tested for the deadly virus. “Hi everyone, I have tested positive for COVID- 19 today. This is a reminder that the virus is still among us. I urge those who have been in close contact with me to isolate themselves and get tested if experiencing symptoms. I have started my treatment for the same. Hoping to see you all very soon. Yours sincerely, Jayaram Subramaniam”. Soon after the post surfaced online, several fans and celebs commented wishing him a speedy recovery.
On the work front, actor Jayaram has several highly anticipated projects in the pipeline, including 'Ponniyin Selvan', ‘Radhe Shyam’, ‘Makal’, Shankar’s tentatively titled big-budget project ‘SVC 50’.
