'Jersey' (Hindi) Trailer: Heart-touching, faithful remake

The Hindi remake of 'Jersey' has got its trailer ahead of the movie's theatrical release on December 31. Directed by Gowtam Tinnanuri and produced by Dil Raju, S Naga Vamsi and Aman Gill, the trailer suggests that Shahid Kapoor has reprised Natural Star Nani faithfully. The film itself is a faithful remake.
An ex-cricketer struggling to make ends meet, wants to fulfill his child's wish of getting a Jersey but in the process comes face to face with his heroic past and is forced to decide if he will rise to the occasion and become a symbol of hope or continue to live a life as a loser, the makers said, giving a synopsis of the story.
Starring Mrunal Thakur as the heroine and Pankaj Kapoor reprising Satyaraj from the Telugu original, the film has dialogues by Siddharth and Garima. Editing is by Navin Nooli, while the Sachet-Parampara has composed the music. Lyrics are by Shellee.
In a welcome decision, the makers have retained Anirudh Ravichander to compose the BGM. Shashank Tere is the production designer.
