Popular hero rejects Bala's new movie?

Maverick filmmaker Bala had a huge setback with his last film Thaarai Thappattai` tanking at the box office. The award winning director planned to make a film based on Kuttraparambarai` novel with Arya, Vishal, Rana Daggubatti, Atharvaa, Arvind Swamy, Tamannaah and Anushka in the lead roles.

Since the multistarrer is planned to start only in 2017, it is reported that Bala wanted to do another film in the meantime and approached Jiiva to play the lead role. It is said that Jiiva who is busy with Kavalai Vendaam`, Sangili Bungili Kadhava Tharae` and a couple of other projects has refused the offer.
