Mohammad Gibran of ‘Run Raja Run’ fame is back with yet another youthful album. Lyrics by Sreemani, Ramajogayya Sastry, Srijo and Krishna Kanth belong to a range of genres.
Yazin Nizar, Bianca Gomes, Shalmali Kholgade, Blaaze, Sangita Santhoshan, Chinton Cerejo, Nivin Bedfors present a range of vocals, as well.
Man of Fire

The first song is expectedly hero-centric. As the title demands and the teasers anticipated, the song by Sree Mani is admirably written, although the same can’t be said of Gibran’s music. Yazin Nazir gets his vocals right, while relatively speaking, Bianca Gomes is scores over the counterpart. A good first song that describes the hero’s nature.
Jil Jil Jil Manase

It’s too youthful for a hero like Gopichand. Gibran pulls off a cool number with its musical flavor imbued in poetic feel. There is a resemblance of the tune at a place or two to a number from Dhanush’s 3. The singers are extremely good. Yazin has a catchy voice, while Shalmali Kholgade is mellifluous. Ramajogayya Sastry’s lyrics are profound as they bring out the nuances of the love birds’ thinking well.
Swing Swing Swing
Artists: Blaaze, Sangita Santhoshan
Lyricist: Srijo
This song is snazzy and it will be interesting to see how Gopichand has been presented in here. While Gibran’s tuning comes across as a rip-off of a song from Run Raja Run, Blaaze and Sangita Santhoshan go Hollywoodish with their unusual vocals. Srijo’s lyrics need some attention.
Emaindi Vela

This is yet again rip-off of a Bollywood hit. Gibran continues with his distinct choice of hatke voices and instrumentation here. Chinton Cerejo and Sharanya Gopinath make their mark, definitely lending an impact on an otherwise prominently inspired song. Krishna Kanth’s lyrics come with some English lines, lending a classy aura.
Pori Masala Pori
Artists: Nivin Bedfors, Sharanya Gopinath
Lyricist: Ramajogayya Sastry
The song is quite hip and hop for sure. It’s Sharanya yet again, complete with her stylish vocals. Nivin Bedfors is like another Blazee for you. Gibran adds an innovation by blending desi beats with Western-style music. It’s sure to catch our attention, lending as it does to excellent choreography. It’ll be interesting to see Gopichand in the visuals for this song. Easily, this one is the best in the album. Ramajogayya’s lyrics are catchy, there is a mix of slang and more.
Verdict: Jil is a stylish title. In keeping with the feel of the title, Gibran delivers a zany, snazzy music. Although inspired and definitely not on a par with his previous hit, this one is enjoyable.
