Porn sites totally blocked for Jio Users

Reliance Jio pioneered the service of cheap data to millions of users across India who have been spending a lot of their time on the internet for the past one and a half years or so. Now in a sudden move the company has brought on a total ban on porn sites and starting from last evening users have not been able to access any of their favorite sites.

Earlier this year the Uttarakand HIgh Court alarmed at the extreme increase in cellphone users visiting porn sites had ordered the blocking of 857 such sites and recommended the same to TRAAI. The voluntary decision of Jio to block the porn sites has been welcomed by social activists and the general public.
