Director Prem's "Jogi", a sentimental story of a village simpleton turning into underworld hireling, has broken many records at box office by running continuously for 100 days in fifty theatres.

The top five films of this week are:

1 "Jogi": The film has completed 100 days in fifty theatres, which is a record. It has boosted up actor Shivaraj Kumar's career, who had several flops to his credit before "Jogi".

2 "Amrutha Dhaare": Rajashri Pictures' "Amrutha Dhaare" is turning out to be a success. The Kannada industry is expecting it to be a silver jubilee. Directed by Nagathihalli Chandrashekhar, the film is doing well abroad.

3 "Anna Thangi": An emotional-drama, starring Shivaraj Kumar and Radhika, is reaping a rich harvest mainly in the district centres and is a big hit in the interiors of Karnataka. The film has raked in Rs.17.5 million.

4 "Auto Shankar": The Upendra and Shilpa Shetty starrer is expected to cross a 100-day run in a few weeks. The film has done well in the B and C centres.

5 "Love Story": Mayur Patel starrer "Love Story" is a remake of the Telugu hit "Maro Charithra", which was released three decades ago. Its Hindi remake "Ek Duje Ke Liye" was also a huge success in the north India.

Made on a reasonable budget and sold for reasonable price, the film is making steady money at box office. The first week collections of the film have been satisfactory.
