Time has come for yet another star kid to make his foray into the filmdom and he hails from the powerful and famous Akkineni family. He is none other than Naga Chaitanya, son of Akkineni Nagarjuna and the film is `Josh'.
Made under the banner of Sri Venkateswara Creations, the film marks the debut of Vasu Varma as the director and this is being produced by the man with the golden hand Dil Raju. Chaitanya is pairing up with Karthika in the lead and the film also has the highly talented Prakashraj, J D Chekravarthy, Brahmanandam, Sunil, Sitara, Anand, Hema. The film also marks the debut of 30 other youngsters in the cast.
The cinematography is being taken care of by Sameer Reddy while the editor for this is Marthand K Venkatesh.
The music for the film has been composed by Sandeep Chowta and the audio release has already happened with some real good response. The lyrics have been penned by Sirivennela Sitarama Sastry, Chandrabose.
The story and screenplay are provided by Vasu Varma and this is slated to be a college treat mixed with action, romance and comedy.
The film has been getting a strong positive report from the inside sources and it is also said that both Chaitanya and Karthika have come up with real good performances considering this is their first attempt.
JD is the bad guy in this one and it must be recalled that he has also played the villain against Nagarjuna in the film `Shiva'. There is also a tagline for the film which says `Youth Rocks' and it has got all the correct elements of commercial value.
The hype has been strong on this and Nagarjuna from his end is said to be counting his lucky stars to see this one score a success at the box office.
