Journey fame Anjali is Venky's pair in SVSC

It is official now. Anjali of Journey is the female pair of Venkatesh in Seethamma Vaakitlo Sirimalle Chettu. It is known that the search for Venky's wife has been on for many weeks now. Dil Raju and Srikanth Addala mooted one too many names, and even came near to finalizing Amala Paul. Seems that Anajli's performance in Journey, where she was seen playing the role with the right attitude and temper has made the makers go for the budding actress.
For a fledgling actress like her, who is not very familiar in Telugu, the offer is a god-send. Hers is said to be a highly performance-oriented role with negative traits. As the vadinamma of Mahesh Babu, she shares screen space with the Prince as well.
The actress may join the shoot in some weeks. Meanwhile, the film's shoot began in Vishakapatnam yesterday and some scenes were shot on Venkatesh. The unit shot on the beach and near the Andhra University campus.
Selecting a less-known face for a significant role in big movies is less heard of. Srikanth Addala, it may be said, has opened a new vista.
