'Jurassic World Dominion' release date postponed to 2022 reason revealed

'Jurassic World Dominion' the sixth film in the 'Jurassic Park' franchise created by Steven Spielberg was scheduled to be released on June 11th, 2021 but has now been pushed to one full year and will instead hit the screens on June 10th, 2022.

'Jurassic World Dominion' directed by Colin Trevorrow has the ensemble cast of Chris Pratt, Bryce Dallas Howard, Daniella Pineda, Isabella Sermon, Justice Smith, and Omar Sy. They will be joined by the original film's cast of veteransLaura Dern, Sam Neill, Jeff Goldblum, and B.D. Wong.

Trevorrow made the announcement "For the past three months, I've worked with an extraordinary cast and crew on a film we can't wait to share with the world, Even though we'll have to wait a bit longer, it will all be worth it. Let's stay healthy and take care of each other until then.”

'Jurassic World Dominion' will see the dinosaurs going open source and created all around the world and how they then pose a threat to the entire world. Filming started in February 2020 in England and was halted by the coronavirus pandemic and then resumed in June with proper precautionary measures in the new normal. The wrap is expected by the end of October.

Even though the film will be ready in a few months Universal Studios have two other big films 'James Bond: No Time to Die' and 'Fast and Furious 9' scheduled for release on April 2nd 2021 and May 28. 2021 respectively. Since its a big holiday film there was no option but to push it to the next summer.
