One of the popular faces on small screen today Jyothi Rai hailing from Mangalore (the land of Aishwarya Rai) is looking for more meaningful and thought provoking roles in big screen. The popular face as she had appeared in all the 200 episodes of ÂJogula directed by Vinu Balanja the pretty good actress Jyothi Rai is also in the role of ÂShanthala in ÂBandhe Barthava Kala in ETV Kannada.

A graduate in science and armed with Computer Science Jyothi Rai married to Padmanabha Rai who is a Networking engineer has a role in small screen that is very close to her real life.
