It was announced recently that Jyotika and Karthi will team up for a movie which will be directed by Papanasam fame Jeethu Joseph and it was speculated that the movie will be a family based suspense thriller on the lines of the director's Drishyam/ Papanasam.

Today, the movie which is yet to be titled began rolling in Chennai. The movie is produced by Bollywood production house Viacom 18 and Parallel Mind, and will have music by 96 fame Govind Vasantha, and cinematography by RD Rajasekhar.

Malayalam actor Anson Paul, who had acted in Remo and recently was seen in the controversial 90 ML will be seen in a key role, while veteran Sathyaraj will be seen as the father of Jyotika and Karthi in the movie which targets October 2019 release.
