Jyothika donates Rs 25 lakh to hospital

Actress Jyothika is in the news for a generous humanitarian gesture. The 'Chandramukhi' actress has donated Rs 25 lakh to a hospital in Tanjavur, Tamil Nadu.

The talented actress, who is married to actor Suriya, has donated the whopping amount to the Thanjavur government hospital for buying necessary modern equipment and additional facilities.

She gave the fund to TN Health Minister Vijaya Bhaskar. This huge gesture from the actress has been appreciated by people as well as politicians.

Jyothika's last release was 'Ponmagal Vandhal' (Tamil), directed by debutant JJ Fredrick. It had a direct OTT release.
