'Naachiyaar'- First weekend collection report

Director Bala has made a real comeback with his latest release 'Naachiyaar'. The film has been getting enormous positive reviews from all corners and the collections are also pretty good all over. 

As far as Chennai Box Office is concerned the film has taken an 'Excellent Opening' according to sources in the trade. The Jyothika-GV Prakash Kumar-newcomer Ivana starrer was released in 20 screens across Chennai and it has had 213 shows screened in the first three day weekend. With this the film has collected more than one crore. (Rs.1,02,04,781). 

The short running time and a new style of script and making by Bala seems to have worked in favour of this Ilaiyaraja musical.
