'Naachiyaar', a crime drama, was released in Tamil early this year. The same, directed by Bala, will be released in Telugu as 'Jhansi'. DV Creations' D Venkatesh and Kalpana Chitra have bought the dubbing rights.

The news is that the film is coming on August 17, two days after Vijay Deverakonda's much-awaited 'Geetha Govindam'.

Featuring the talented Jyothika as a gutsy cop, the drama's two other leading actors are GV Prakash Kumar and Ivana. "The film tells the tale of the police working to uncover the truth after a young man is accused of assaulting his girlfriend," a Wiki post describes the film's plot in short. If Maestro Ilaiyaraaja has composed the music, its cinematography is by Eashwar.
