'Magalir Mattum' proves Jyothika is still a hot favourite

The women-centric film directed by Bramma has no male star and Jyothika is the only star face in the cast. But the film has proved that Jo is still the people's favourite as it has collected Rs.1.35 crores on its first day in Tamil Nadu Box office. This includes Chennai city's share of Rs.26 lakhs which is considered as a Good Opening for a film of this kind.
In the weekend the film is expected to have performed better due to positive word of mouth.
