Rumors about legendary singer K.J. Yesudas being hospitalized due to health issues have been denied by his son, Vijay Yesudas.

Reports surfaced on social media and some news outlets claiming that Yesudas was admitted to a private hospital in Chennai on February 26 after a sudden health decline and was receiving treatment for his white blood cells. Many fans expressed their concerns and wished for his speedy recovery.

However, Vijay Yesudas clarified that these reports are false. He confirmed that his father is in good health and is currently in the United States.

K.J. Yesudas celebrated his 85th birthday on January 10. With a career spanning over 60 years, he has sung more than 60,000 songs in Tamil, Malayalam, Telugu, and other languages. He has received 8 National Awards and state government awards from Kerala, Tamil Nadu, Andhra Pradesh, Karnataka, and West Bengal.

Yesudas has also been honored with prestigious awards such as the Padma Shri in 1975, Padma Bhushan in 2002, and Padma Vibhushan in 2017.
