It's known that Tammareddy Bharadwaj found fault with the so-called splurging of money on the ongoing Oscar campaign by the team 'RRR'. As per him, Rs 80 Cr have been spent by the team so far on the campaign. 'Naatu Naatu' has been nominated in the Best Original Song category.

K Raghavendra Rao, addressing Tammareddy, asked if he has got accounts-related information to claim that Rs 80 Cr have been spent on the campaign. "We should be proud of the fact that a Telugu film, a Telugu filmmaker and a Telugu song have reached the global stage. Is it your case that the likes of James Cameron and Steven Spielberg have lauded 'RRR' by taking money?" the veteran director asked Tammareddy.

On his part, Naga Babu was intemperate. He sees a YCP conspiracy in trying to tarnish the image of the team 'RRR'. The Mega Brother asked if the critic's father ('amma mogudu' are the words he used) is spending the money. "I am countering him in the language of YCP," Naga Babu further wrote.

Tammareddy had said that others will make 10 movies with Rs 80 Cr. The fact of the matter is that there is no evidence to say how much has gone into the Oscar campaign.
