Jyothika is one yesteryear star whose fan following is intact even after eight years of hibernation after which she made a grand comeback with '36 Vayadhinile' in 2016 following it up with two hits 'Magalir Mattum' and 'Naachiyaar'.  She has completed shooting for her next female centric film 'Kaatrin Mozhi' directed by Radha Mohan and produced by G. Dhananjayan.

It is official that 'Kaatrin Mozhi' would hit the screens on the 18th of October which also happens to be the birthday of Jyothika and in the pooja holidays.  The Tamil Film Producers Council's Release Regulation Committee has approved the date and has given its authorization certificate.  The film has Vidharth, Lakshmi Manchu and Simbu in a cameo appearance.
